Hello
Brittney Wells is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 6 years of professional experience providing therapeutic support to her clients. While Brittney's career began in teaching (including teaching English as a second language in China), her passion became Psychology.

Upon earning her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Utah Valley University, Brittney began working with students in therapeutic outdoor/recreation and residential settings - utilizing nature as a setting to help others face challenges and develop strength and resiliency.
Brittney's work in outdoor and residential settings fueled her curiosity to support others in a "deeper" capacity - obtaining a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. Since then, Brittne primarily works with teens and adults in out-patient settings.
My Story
Brittney’s journeys have taken her around the world - living in Qatar, Dubai, and China, as well as Hawaii, Texas, Utah and Oregon. Along the way, she has gained great insight into people’s experiences, their cultures, and how the two influence one’s core perceptions and beliefs that often drive our behaviors. Brittney brings this experience and perspective to practice when working with her clients - believing that once we understand the unique experiences that influence our negative beliefs driving our concerning behaviors, we can truly begin the reparative and healing process.
Brittney believes in and has experienced the power and change EMDR can bring to individuals. Integrating trauma-informed care, including EMDR, TF-CBT, mindfulness, attachment theory, and other evidence-based approaches, Brittney supports her clients in overcoming their unique life challenges. Brittney has experience working with life transitions, trauma/PTSD, ADHD, OCD, Veterans, women’s issues, Veterans, divorce, and self-esteem.

Brittney lives in Bend with her husband and dog Milo. She enjoys getting out on the trails for hiking, mountain biking, and backpacking. During the winter you will find her enjoying her number one love…snowboarding.
